Volunteer with the Philharmonic Society of Orange County

The Committees of the Philharmonic Society are the volunteer force that plays an active role in providing music education and community programs.

With 19 Committees located throughout Orange County, our over 500 volunteer members provide more than 90,000 hours of in-kind service each year to support the Philharmonic Society's nationally recognized youth music education programs, which offer engaging, inspiring, and enriching educational experiences.

Our passionate Committees members usher at youth concerts, docent music education programs in schools and concert halls, and organize and facilitate fundraising events such as the Annual Golf Classic, Ducky Regatta, and Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights®—all while enjoying camaraderie and providing philanthropic service within our communities.

The Committees Mission Statement:

The Philharmonic Committees support the mission of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County by providing exceptional youth music education programs that ENGAGE and INSPIRE students to develop a life-long appreciation of music and the power it has to CONNECT and ENRICH lives.
