A founding member of Brooklyn Rider and a member of the Silkroad Ensemble, Grammy-winning violinist Johnny Gandelsman, presents a new project developed during the pandemic, called This Is America. The program features 20 newly commissioned solo violin works from a diverse group of composers, to whom he asked to reflect on the events of 2020 and consider the impact the period had on both them and their communities.
