The health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, performers, staff, and community is our top priority. We continue to closely monitor county and state guidelines to ensure the most up-to-date health and safety protocols are in place. With the recent changes from the CDC and California Department of Public Health, we urge you to read our Health & Safety Protocols page before your next visit to learn more about our and our venues' updated and latest protocols, which may be altered as new guidance is issued.

Music Mobile
Grades 1-3
Arriving in a Music Mobile van full of instruments, Philharmonic Society docents introduce the symphony orchestra and musical concepts with an engaging 30-minute presentation and instrument petting zoo, giving students the opportunity to try out different instruments in this hands-on experience.
A virtual model of our Music Mobile program is available. Through the Virtual Music Mobile, students will get to know the instruments of the orchestra through a fun and engaging digital learning experience. These 10-12 minute lessons, with accompanying teacher resource guides, are designed for students learning in the classroom, home, or in a hybrid of the two. With the addition of printable activity guides, students will be able to take a break from screens and continue to learn about music away from the computer.
