The London-based Philharmonia Orchestra celebrates its 80th season with an unforgettable evening of musical brilliance! The dynamic Santtu-Matias Rouvali will lead the Orchestra in Shostakovich’s monumental Symphony No. 5, a stirring masterpiece of drama and triumph. Acclaimed pianist Víkingur Ólafsson, hailed as “Iceland’s Glenn Gould,” brings his poetic touch to Ravel’s dazzling Piano Concerto in G major, a work brimming with jazzy rhythms and lush lyricism.
