The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra performs Brahms' Double Concerto—his final orchestral work and a rare pairing of violin and cello—featuring LACO concertmaster Margaret Batjer and principal cellist Andrew Shulman. Also on the program is Beethoven's famous Fifth Symphony and a newly commissioned work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Reid.

Beloved by audiences and praised by critics, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra is a preeminent interpreter of historical masterworks as well as a champion of contemporary composers. Headquartered in the heart of the country’s cultural capital and fondly known to Angelenos as LACO, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has been proclaimed “America’s finest chamber orchestra” (Public Radio International), “LA’s most unintimidating chamber music experience” (Los Angeles Magazine), “resplendent” (Los Angeles Times), and “one of the world’s great chamber orchestras” (KUSC Classical FM).
