Volunteers are a vital part of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.
Our largest volunteer force is “The Committees,” a group of 1,100 volunteers dedicated to bringing music education programs to every school district in the county and more than 200,000 children each year.
“The Committees” members are the Philharmonic Society’s Youth Programs life blood. They research new curriculums, present programs in schools, organize and staff concerts, fund programs and schedule musicians to perform. By actively sharing music with kids, our members lead the way in keeping music alive in Orange County schools.
Other volunteers assist us in day-to-day administrative activities to fulfill high school or college community service credits. These volunteers assist Philharmonic Society staff members with filing, mailings and other essential administrative tasks.
There are two ways to volunteer. Fill out an interest form and request more information or contact us at(949)553-2422.
