Support from foundations or government entities plays an important role in helping the Philharmonic Society and its commitment to providing high quality performances and educational opportunities for K-12 students that reach thousands of adults and children throughout Orange County each year.

Grants from foundations or government entities can support the Society as a whole or can be designated for particular programs, projects or funds including, but not limited to:

- Specific concerts or concert series
- Specific artistic projects
- Education Programs
- Specific education programs including: Music and Movement; Musical Me; Music Mobile; California Journeys; Meet the Musicians; Workshops and Assemblies; Ensembles on Tour; Disneyland Resorts Salute to the American Band; Concerts for Fifth Graders, Ancient Grooves; and Art and Music.

Government Support
The Philharmonic Society receives government funding from federal and municipal sources. The Society has received recent artistic project support from the National Endowment of the Arts.
