In its second year of partnership with Carnegie Hall, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County will present an ambitious, season-long festival exploring the fascinating diversity of Japanese and Japanese-American arts and culture, beginning in October 2010 through April 2011. JapanOC will take place at Orange County Performing Arts Center, part of Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and at the venues of Southern California artistic partners. JapanOC marks the second year of collaboration bringing Carnegie Hall’s festival programming to Southern California. On the East Coast, the JapanNYC festival will be presented in December 2010 and spring 2011 with performances and events at Carnegie Hall and 15 New York City partner venues.
