Part of an exciting new partnership this season with Shady Canyon Golf Club, acclaimed American tenor Charles Castronovo will perform nine Neapolitan songs. A limited number of seats are available for this event. Dinner and entertainment will take place at the Clubhouse at Shady Canyon Golf Club and tickets include cocktail reception, three-course dinner, and the evening's entertainment.

Italian American operatic tenor, Charles Castronovo, pays tribute to his heritage with an intimate performance of traditional Neapolitan songs. The star lyric tenor is known internationally to opera audiences for his thrilling performances on stage, but is rarely heard on the concert stage. In 2010 Castronovo embarked on project to research and perform traditional Neapolitan songs, many of them are written in old dialects, and are rarely performed classically. Castronovo, of Southern Italian descent, will perform some of his favorite songs that remind him of his heritage. Castronovo picks up where past Italian vocal greats such as Mario Lanza, Francesco Albanese, Giuseppi di Stefano left off.

This will be a special evening to catch an intimate performance of this star tenor, who will be accompanied by guitar and mandolin. If you are a fan of O sole mio and Faniculi, Fanicula, you will not want to miss this performance.
